battle graphics are beautiful and much improved battles run silky smooth most of the campaign improvements are actually useful and were badly needed the AI is more aggressive and will actually run away from fights it can’t win if led by a skilled general.
… The main argument for the purchase was, above all, the ability to run under Windows 10 and> FullHD resolutions. Rome 1 was unfortunately only partially functional. Many crashes and image problems characterize the aging game. After almost 3 hours in the remaster and hundreds of hours in the original, we can confidently recommend a purchase. Especially for the price of 15 € (if you own the old Rome on Steam) you can’t really go wrong. Thanks, CA for this remaster.
