Spin Rhythm XD is an interdimensional electronic music rhythm game with fluid, analogue-inspired controls and fully hand-sequenced levels. Spin Rhythm, despite being in early access is an incredibly fun game that stands out as more than just another rhythm game. While we don’t think this will redefine the genre or anything, it certainly puts a new spin (hehe) on the formula with a sort of confidence that we haven’t seen in a while. The core mechanics are very engaging, initially, we thought that a special controller of some sort would be required to get the full experience but we are happy to say that that’s not true at all. Playing with a mouse and keyboard (or any of the other countless functionally sound 3rd party controllers/midi controllers) feels completely natural and, after getting used to, will lead to you playing exceptionally consistent.
