DiRT Showdown PC Game 2012 Overview: Winning these events earns the player money, which they can spend buying new cars, upgrading existing ones, and unlocking future races. Having reached the final series, the next level of difficulty unlocks, with faster opponents and longer runs.
Features of DiRT Showdown:
Rampage – Eight cars participate in a debris contest set in an arena. Destroyed cars respawn in the arena. Knock Out – A variation of rampage where the arena features a raised board-like structure. Points are awarded for crashing into other cars, with bonus points being offered for pushing a rival off the table. Destroyed cars respawn at the bottom of a ramp that leads back to the giant table. Hard Target – The player starts in the center of the arena and must defend against attacks from the other cars. The winner is the player who survives the longest. 8-Ball – Races take place on circuits that feature multiple junctions. These junctions are open intersections that allow cars, the player, and the AI to collide with each other.
